Iran envoy urges Pak govt to contain Jundallah

LAHORE: Iranian Counsel General Saeed Khirazi has said the Iranian government has handed over all evidence regarding Jundallah to the Pakistan government and have requested it to restrict its activities.
Speaking at a ceremony celebrating the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran at the Iranian Consulate, Khirazi said that Jundallah was involved in Zahidan bombings. Activities of Jundallah were not in the interest of Pakistan and Iran, he added.
About the future of Iranian nuclear programme, he said that Iran would not roll back its nuclear programme at any cost and it rejected the hegemony of any group of countries over nuclear power. He said nuclear technology was the basic right of Iranian people in view of the rapidly deteriorating natural resources. The USA was nobody to tell Iran otherwise, he said.
