Ansar Burney condemns attack on NGO office in Mansehra

ISLAMABAD: The United Nations Expert Adviser on Human Rights at Geneva and former federal minister for Human Rights, Ansar Burney, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on an American NGO, World Vision, in Pakistan in which seven innocent aid workers were brutally killed.

Ansar Burney said that on Wednesday the Taliban militants stormed a building used by a US-based charity in Mansehra and killed at least seven people. Ansar Burney said the gunmen attacked the offices of the NGO World Vision near Oghi town, in Mansehra, NWFP, where Taliban and al-Qaeda-linked militants have carried out multiple attacks.

The human rights expert said that seven innocent aid workers were killed, including two women.Chairman Ansar Burney Trust International demanded of the Pakistan government to immediately arrest the killers as well their supporters belonging to the religious and

political parties in Pakistan, to bring them to justice.
