Arrested outlaws confess to target killings CID

KARACHI: After Karachi police managed to take under arrest at least three alleged target killers, they (assassins) have confessed to target killings of up to 12 individuals including lawyers and others during investigation process, reports SAMAA citing police sources on Thursday.
Huge amount of arms and ammunitions were also found in their possession, police had claimed earlier.
According to details, SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam briefed media at his office about the arrests of target killers and their confession.
He said the slayers in police custody were identified as Mohammed Taufeeq Ansari, Salahuddin and Maulana Mohammed Rashid and that they also confessed to killing religious scholars as well as lawyers.
Further investigations are underway, he added.
