Burney lauds Indo-Pak secretary-level talks

ISLAMABAD: Ansar Burney Trust International chairman Ansar Burney has praised Pakistan-India talks at the secretary level to be held in New Delhi on February 25, saying the talks are in the greater interest of human dignity and peace in the region, says a press release issued on Monday.

Burney, who is also the United Nations expert adviser on human rights and the former federal minister for human rights, said he prayed for the success of the meeting of foreign affairs secretaries of Pakistan and India.

He said he was very happy to know that elder and younger brothers were once again going to start dialogue against hatred, terrorism, bloodshed and war, and to bring two nations and families nearer to each other in the greater interest of harmony, love, peace and human dignity in the entire region.

Ansar Burney, who is playing a historical role for bringing peace to the region, congratulated Jang Group and Geo, and Times of India along with the Ansar Burney Trust, for their kind efforts for Aman ki Asha .
