Four killed, two injured in Toba accidents

TOBA TEK SINGH: Four people were killed and two were injured in different accidents.
Arshad of Gojra s Imamia Colony and Akbar of Aftab Town were returning Gojra from Painsara on their motorcycle when both were crushed to death by a speeding bus coming from opposite side on Gojra-Faisalabad road. On Toba-Rajana road a wedding procession participant of Faisalabad Abdul Majid died and his two friends Saeed and Wahid were injured seriously when their car overturned while overtaking a rickshaw. On Toba-Jhang road near chak 383 JB Allahar Waseem of chak 381 JB was seriously wounded when his motorcycle was collided with a car.
He was shifted to DHQ hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. Zain and Iftikhar were severely injured when their motorcycle s tyre was busted near district jail on Toba-Shorkot road. They were admitted to DHQ hospital in a critical condition.
Youth murdered: A youth was murdered here on Sunday. Sher Muhammad, son of Liaqat Ali, went to central graveyard for Fateha for his relatives where someone attacked and killed him on the spot with a sharp-edged knife near Darbar of Baba Muhammad Sharif.
Cotton bales gutted: Cotton bales worth millions of rupees were gutted when a trailer carrying bales caught a fire near chak 336 GB Saraba on Sunday. Trailer 321 TKC was carrying bales from Haroonabad to Faisalabad when suddenly a fire broke out in bales due to unknown reason. Fire was controlled after an hour efforts.
