MANSEHRA: The Convener for Hazara Tehrik, Sardar Haider Zaman, said on Thursday that he would not hold talks with those involved in killing innocent people in Abbottabad.

Speaking at a public meeting in Oghi as part of the campaign for the creation of Hazara province, he reminded that even the first information report (FIR) with the police in the case was yet to be lodged. I will never talk to the ANP-led provincial government as it killed innocent people in Abbottabad, he alleged.

Senator Fauzia Fakhr-uz-zaman, MPAs Wajeeh-uz-zaman Khan, Habibur Rehman Tanoli, Qalandar Lodhi, former federal ministers Syed Qasim Shah, Sardar Mohammad Yousaf, Gohar Ayub Khan and Amanullah Khan Jadoon and others also spoke on occasion.

The Hazara Tehrik leader said those who were involved in genocide of Pakhtuns and corruption could not dare face the movement launched by the people of Hazara for a separate province. Haider Zaman said that a peaceful movement for a separate province of Hazara would continue until success. If the government did not stop conspiracies against our movement, we will give a tit-for-tat response to it, he warned.

Senator Fauzia Fakharuzzaman, who belongs to Oghi area and made her first appearance in public in her 30-year political career, greeted Pukhtuns for renaming the NWFP as Khyber Pukhtunkhwa. She said they had nothing against Pukhtuns. By the same yardstick, she said the movement for separate province was primarily to win the rights of the people of Hazara.
