Musharraf wants to bring economic recovery to Pakistan

ORLANDO    : Former President Pervez Musharraf has reached out to expatriates in central Florida in his effort to stage a political comeback. Musharraf told a crowd of about 300 Saturday at Lake Mary he wants to bring an economic recovery to Pakistan. The event was hosted by the Florida chapter of Friends of Pakistan First.

The crowd gave him a standing ovation. Some shouted ``Long live Musharraf\' in Urdu, the language in which he delivered much of his speech.
