Smuggling bid foiled at Lahore airport

LAHORE: Airport customs have foiled the bid to smuggle three kilograms of heroin through a flight of a private airline here in Lahore on Friday, reports SAMAA.

According to details, customs officers found three-kilogram heroin hidden in the luggage of a passenger who was supposed to board a private flight bound to Abu Dhabi from Allama Iqbal International airport.

 A case has been filed against the alleged smuggler indentified as Gulzar Ahmed.

It is pertinent to mention here that the smuggler is a former employee of PIA.
