Training course for doctors on dengue

LahoreOn directions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, specialist doctors of dengue virus have provided training to the doctors belonging to six districts at Lahore General Hospital.
The doctors were trained about how to treat dengue patients and about precautionary measures against the menace.
Principal PGMI and LGH Prof. Dr. Tariq Salah-ud-Din said in this regard that after the last year experiences and solid steps taken by the Punjab government against the dengue, it is hoped that dengue would not be so damaging this year.
He said that Pakistani experts" observations of Thailand model to curb dengue and high level awareness about this disease among general public would also be very helpful to reduce the damage.
He said that it is high time to get fully prepared against dengue especially a vigorous awareness campaign must be started promptly as dengue such a disease which can be avoided successfully through prevention.Online
