Youth goes missing at airport

LAHORE– The police have begun investigations to trace the whereabouts of a 22-year-old Canadian nationality-holder Pakistani who went missing from Allama Iqbal Airport late on Thursday night.
Mahad Qureshi went missing under mysterious circumstances after he landed at the airport from a Kuwait Airways flight, police sources said on Friday.
Mahad arrived at Kuwait from London before landing in Pakistan. Badar-Ul-Hasan, maternal uncle of the youth, suspected that Mahad has either been kidnapped for ransom or he is in the custody of intelligence agencies.
The Sarwar Road police have registered a kidnapping case against unidentified persons on the complaint of the father of the youth. Further investigations are underway.
